• Matches the files A cloth item linked from a Deadmines run (pants) reduces the crafting time of Smelt Copper, Tin and Bronze. It is a profession-utility item that stays useful at max level.

  The files Smelting Pants 5199 (blue leather legs, req 16, +5 Spi +7 Sta) have the equip effect Improved Smelting 01 1291915: 'Reduces the crafting time of Smelt Copper, Smelt Tin, Smelt Bronze, and Smelt Silver by 25%.' It's a Deadmines item (QuestieDB: dropped by Gilnid), upgraded from green to blue, and leather rather than cloth.

• Matches the files First Mate Band (Deadmines, 6 Str, 2 Sta) is half of a two-piece set with Band of the Better Half, a level-60 ring that can't be obtained yet. The 2-set bonus gives a chance on melee swing to gain 50 Strength for 10 sec, which might make this Deadmines ring usable at 60.

  The files ItemSet 2131 'Partners in Crime' = First Mate Band 284715 (blue, req 17, +6 Str +2 Sta) + Band of the Better Half 284716 (epic, req 60, +18 Str +10 Sta +12 Expertise). 2pc: 'Chance on melee swing to become Angry, increasing Strength by 50 for 10 sec', plus a second 2pc bonus of +22 Strength.

• Matches the files A Deadmines drop called a 'looky spyglass' is a trinket with +1 Spirit and a use effect that lets you look far into the distance.

  The files Lookie's Spyglass 273298: trinket (InventoryType 12), Unique-Equipped (ItemSparse Flags_0 0x80000), +1 Spirit, req 18, use Longsight 12883 'Allows you to look far into the distance.' The Cookie source isn't in data.

• Partly Cookie in Deadmines can drop a Tailoring chest pattern. Cookie Stirring Rod is a 22.3 DPS wand with fire resistance, and Cape of the Brotherhood also dropped. The pattern sold for about 10 silver on the AH.

  The files Cookie's Stirring Rod 5198: 22.3 DPS wand, now +3 Spell Power and +3 Fire Resistance (Era: no stats). Cape of the Brotherhood 5193 exists (blue, +5 Agi +3 Sta). Cookie's Tailoring pattern drop and the AH price can't be checked.

• Partly Preach: original Classic dungeons are mostly unchanged apart from added quests. Deadmines got a big new quest chain worth doing, and Wailing Caverns has the Fang set that turns Druids into a snake.

  The files Embrace of the Viper (the Fang set, ItemSet 162) has new Forever bonuses: 2pc +10 Int, 3pc +10 AP, 4pc a low-health heal (1291796), 5pc a Dream Venom stun. None of them turns a Druid into a snake, so that part isn't supported by the set data. The Oct 1 notes mention the Deadmines quest 'Destruction in Deadmines'.

• Not in the files A level 17-20 Deadmines group (with many crafted blues) nearly wiped on one pull; a Blessing of Protection saved it, and both Paladins and the Priest ran out of mana.
