Warrior updates, October 2
25 notes, each checked against the game files of build 1.60.1.70291. The note is Blizzard's wording; "The files" is what the client data shows. Read the original post.
Warrior
Developers' note: Because of the above bug, our tests needed some correcting, so we did another pass on Fury Warrior.
- Not in the files
Additional Rage generated from landing Critical Strikes increased to 100% increased Rage (was 75%).
The files Rage from crits is computed by the server. A hidden Rule of Rage (DND) spell (1322574) had its value hotfixed from 10 to 100 in 70245, but the client doesn't say what that number controls.

Fixed a bug that was causing Dual Wield Specialization to grant its increase to Hit Chance to both weapons.
The files Which weapons got the hit bonus was server behavior. In 70245 it no longer applies: the hotfix turns the DWS hit effect (aura 54) into a dummy, so the talent grants no hit at all.
Fury
Developers' note: Our goal here is to give Fury more access to utility and meaningful choices early in the tree for leveling, and free up points later for more choices instead of being stuck placing points into Enrage to get Flurry.

Booming Voice is now a 10/20/30/40/50% increase area of effect to your Shouts and a 5/10/15/20/25% reduction to their Rage costs.
The files Booming Voice's 70245 hotfix tooltip covers all Shouts' area (10-50%) and Rage cost (5-25%, new effect at -25), and its spell list widens from 196608 to 983040 (spell 12321).

Unbridled Wrath no longer grants twice as much Rage to two-handed weapons.
The files The two-handed weapon sentence is gone from the tooltip in the 70245 hotfix (spell 12322).

New Talent Lingering Rage in Row 2 of Fury. Lingering Rage increases the time before your Rage begins to decay when leaving combat by 2/4/6/8/10 seconds.
The files New spell 1323964 takes Iron Will's old Fury row 2 slot in the 70245 hotfix; its 5 ranks add 2/4/6/8/10 sec before out-of-combat Rage decay (rank values 2000-10000 ms).

Raging Blows now reduces the Rage cost of your Cleave and Whirlwind abilities by 3.
The files Raging Blows' cost effect goes from -20 to -30 (3 Rage, stored x10) in the 70245 hotfix, Whirlwind joins its spell list, and the tooltip names Cleave and Whirlwind (spell 1310315).

Raging Blows no longer causes your Whirlwind to strike with your offhand. Whirlwind will now always strike with both weapons without requiring a talent point.
The files In the 70245 hotfix Raging Blows' tooltip drops the off-hand Whirlwind line, and Whirlwind's tooltip says it hits with both melee weapons (spells 1310315, 1680).

Developers' note: Our goal is to give non-shield users a clear path to the middle of the tree, where Protection could serve as a PvP tech secondary specialization, with more access to Improved Bloodrage, Iron Will, Improved Disarm, Last Stand, and Improved Shield Bash.
