Eureka! no longer benefits periodic effects at all. Channeled spells do not count as periodics.
The files Build 70170 cleared or narrowed Eureka!'s periodic damage effect: the Mage version (1259817) now affects no periodics, Warlock only Drain Life, Drain Soul and Wrack, Priest only Mind Flay and Starshards, all channels. Four of the five tooltips now say 'non-periodic'; the Mage one still doesn't.
